Deciding what to do after high school graduation and how to finance post secondary education can seem like ominous tasks.  This website is designed to help make the process of post secondary planning easier for home schooling families.  It is  intended as a resource for the students, parents, and teaching staff affiliated with the Galena City School District's IDEA home schooling/ correspondence program.

With the increased use of technology in the work force, it has become increasingly difficult for high school graduates to step into good jobs without furthering their education.  The job market trends indicate that the majority of jobs in the future will require some type of post secondary education, whether it be college or vocational.
